Dizzee Rascal avoids jail over assault on ex-fiancee

Rapper Dizzee Rascal has avoided a prison sentence for assaulting his ex-fiancee during a “chaotic” row over money and contact with their children.

The 37-year-old grime artist, whose real name is Dylan Mills, was handed a community order with a 24-week curfew and a 12-month restraining order at Croydon Magistrates’ Court on Friday.
