Divock Origi has arrived in Italy ahead of completing his move to AC Milan after the striker left Liverpool this summer. Origi spent seven years at Anfield after moving from Lille in 2015.
The 27-year-old decided it was time to leave Liverpool this summer upon the expiration of his contract after making just seven league appearances last season. Origi announced his wish to leave the club at the end of the last campaign.
Origi's contract at Liverpool officially expires on Thursday, July 1 and will then be free to join Serie A champions Milan on a free transfer. The striker will begin his medical today after arriving in Italy.

Should Origi come through his medical with no problems, as expected, he is likely to be announced as Milan's new striker in the coming days. The striker failed to establish himself as a regular starter under Jurgen Klopp at Anfield due to the form of Sadio Mane, Mohamed Salah and Roberto Firmino.
However, the Belgian will forever live in the history of the club for his role in the Champions League-winning season of 2019. Origi came to the rescue in that special 4-0 win over Barcelona in the semi-final with two goals to cement the Reds' place in the final - where he scored Liverpool's second goal in a 2-0 win over Tottenham Hotspur.
Origi will join ex-Premier League strikers Olivier Giroud and Zlatan Ibrahimovic at Milan as they look to defend the Serie A title they won last season.
