PANAJI: Still smarting from the Bombay High Court’s order dismissing the disqualification plea, Congress on Sunday said that the order upholding the merger of the 10 Congress MLAs is contradictory, makes a mockery of the Constitution and the election process while creating more confusion in the minds of voters.
At a press conference, state Congress president Girish Chodankar said that the court took a “casual approach” while hearing the petition challenging assembly speaker Rajesh Patnekar’s order.
