Disney mega fans can visit 12 parks in 20,000 mile global jet adventure costing £90,000

Disney mega-fans have the chance to visit every single park on a round the world jet trip.

In an offering that will make environmentally conscious travellers balk, the entertainment giant is flying 75 fans to its 12 resorts.

The 24 day trip will take place in July 2023 and cost a cool £90,000, while taking in resorts in California, Florida and Shanghai, among several others.

It also includes stops at destinations which do not have a Disney resort, with planned tours of the Agra’s Taj Mahal in India, the Pyramids of Giza in Egypt, and the Eiffel Tower in Paris.

The few dozen who make it onto the tour will have the “rare opportunity” to stay at the Summit Skywalker Ranch outside San Francisco, which was founded by Star Wars creator George Lucas.

The 130,000 sq ft luxurious ranch also houses Skywalker Vineyards, a movie theatre and an art gallery.

The £90,000 price tag is based on two people sharing a room. Those wanting to fly by themselves must fork out another £9,000.

The prices do not include air travel to Los Angeles, where the trip begins or home from the last stop.

The minimum age for the trip is 12, and there are no discounts on children’s ticket prices.

"Embark on a bucket list adventure for 75 ultimate Disney fans!" Disney's website reads.

"This dream vacation spans 24 days and covers six countries that includes all 12 uniquely magical Disney theme parks worldwide, as well as 3 iconic landmarks: the Taj Mahal, Pyramids of Giza and Eiffel Tower.

"Throughout the trip, you’ll stay in world-class accommodations, including the rare opportunity to be a Guest at Summit Skywalker Ranch.

"Plus, you’ll travel in luxury via a VIP-configured Boeing 757, operated by Icelandair, with long-range capabilities that allows for direct flights to maximize your time in each destination.

"You’ll also enjoy personal access to experts and staff, who provide fun and fact-filled stories enabling you to be immersed in every location you visit."

The total distance travelled in the air is likely to be around 20,000 miles.

Given that the jet will not be filled to capacity, the likely carbon footprint for every one of the people on the Disney trip will be many tonnes.

Booking for the general public begins later this month; find out more here.
