Disney+ continues to expand its Korean drama offerings with the addition of the action-packed spy series, The Tyrant. The show follows the intense pursuit of a stolen bioweapon during a clandestine exchange between Korean and U.S. intelligence agencies.
The plot centers around the exposure of a top-secret Korean government project aimed at enhancing human abilities. When the U.S. learns of this covert operation, tensions rise as they demand the project be terminated and all samples surrendered. However, chaos ensues when the handover is ambushed, forcing agents from both nations to collaborate in order to prevent the dangerous formula from falling into the wrong hands.
