Disney Dreamlight Valley fans have just 24 hours to wait until the game's latest update is available. After just over a month in early access, fans are eagerly awaiting the update to freshen up their gameplay.
Developers Gameloft has promised that the update will include an extension of the main story, with quests available to unlock the new character Scar. There will also be fixes to a lot of the bugs that players have encountered with items being stuck and quests frozen.
There will also be the introduction of the new star path. Dreamlight Valley's version of a battle pass bought with in-game currency moonstones rewards players with exclusive rewards like new furniture and costumes for completing tasks.

What time will the Disney Dreamlight Valley update go live?
The developers revealed on Twitter that their intention was for the update to go live at 9am Eastern Standard Time (EST). That's roughly 2 pm BST here in the UK.
Via the official Disney Dreamlight Valley Twitter account, game devs said that players should make sure that they are as prepared as possible for the update when it drops. Before updating, open the game and make sure that you save things to the cloud.
If you haven't set up cloud saving, you can do this from the main menu. If you run into issues saving to the cloud, players are urged to keep trying.
Then you can begin updating the game via whatever platform you play. The only thing the developers ask is that you don't try to play the game offline whilst the update is downloading.
It may take some time but just be patient, it'll be worth it. After the update is complete, developers say that players should load the game and immediately save before progressing with play.
Once updated, the new Star Path is available for you straight away. While Scar’s story arc is a story update so players will need to have the Sunlit Plateau unlocked and have completed “The Curse” quest.
