Slayers: A Buffyverse Story season 2 has received a disappointing update from the co-writer, who shared the news on Twitter. Christopher Golden, who co-wrote the audio series with original Buffy the Vampire Slayer cast member Amber Benson, revealed that the future of Slayers season 2 is uncertain as Disney has refused to allow Audible to proceed with future seasons.
Slayers was an Audible original series set in the Buffy universe, crafting a fictional tale through audio means. Golden expressed his disappointment at the cancellation, mentioning that no explanation has been provided for the decision. Despite this setback, Golden reflected on the joy of bringing the characters back to life and expressed gratitude for the opportunity.
