Disney and TikTok launch partnership bringing scrolling to the big screen

Disney is integrating fan-made TikTok videos into its Disney+ streaming service through a new global agreement with TikTok.
The pilot program will launch in the U.S. in the coming months, allowing participating creators to produce short-form videos using scenes from hundreds of Disney movies and TV shows.
These videos will appear on both TikTok and Disney+'s Verts feed, featuring content inspired by franchises like Pixar, Marvel, Star Wars, and FX.
Disney will carefully review and curate all fan-made clips before they appear on Disney+ to ensure they meet the company's family-friendly standards.
The collaboration aims to give subscribers another reason to engage with the Disney+ app, encouraging them to discover and stream longer content.
