Disgraced former New York GovernorAndrew Cuomo improperly used state resources for his memoir and “overpowered” the watchdog agency to get approval for the controversial $5.1m deal, according to the findings of an investigation.
A damning report from law firm Hogan Lovells concluded that Mr Cuomo wrote and publicised American Crisis: Leadership Lessons from the Covid-19 Pandemic in 2020 at a time when it interfered with his responsibilities leading New York’s response to the pandemic.
