Discord has officially expanded Nitro beyond its usual chat and customization features by launching Nitro Rewards, a new benefits program focused heavily on gaming.
The update marks one of the biggest changes to the subscription service since Nitro first launched, adding Xbox Game Pass access, gaming gear discounts, and more ways to earn Orbs. Here’s everything included in the new Discord Nitro Rewards program and how it works.

Xbox Game Pass is now included with Discord Nitro
The biggest addition to Nitro Rewards is Xbox Game Pass Starter Edition, which is now bundled with Discord Nitro at no extra cost.
According to Discord, Nitro members can access a rotating library of more than 50 games across PC and Xbox consoles. The subscription also includes 10 hours of cloud gaming, allowing players to stream select titles without downloading them first.

- Fallout 4
- Stardew Valley
- DayZ
- Deep Rock Galactic
- Grounded
- Overcooked 2
Discord says more games will continue to be added periodically as part of the Game Pass library. The company also noted that the Nitro subscription price itself is not increasing with the addition of Game Pass.
Nitro Rewards also includes gaming gear discounts
Discord is also partnering with major gaming hardware brands to offer discounts through Nitro Rewards. Current launch partners include:
- Up to 30 percent off Logitech G gaming gear.
- Up to 20 percent off KontrolFreek products.
- Up to 15 percent off SteelSeries headsets and accessories.
The company says more gaming-related partners and rotating offers will be introduced over time. These discounts are designed to cover products such as gaming mice, keyboards, headsets, and controllers.
Nitro members now get more Orbs
Discord is also expanding the Orbs system for Nitro subscribers.
Members will now receive 250 Orbs every month simply for maintaining an active Nitro subscription. On top of that, Nitro users gain an Orbs Multiplier, which boosts the number of Orbs earned through normal Quests. Orbs can be spent in Discord’s Shop on profile cosmetics and other digital rewards.
What are Nitro Rewards?
Nitro Rewards is essentially Discord’s attempt to turn Nitro into a broader gaming membership rather than just a premium chat subscription.
Previously, Nitro mainly focused on Discord-specific perks like:
- HD streaming
- Larger uploads
- Custom profiles
- Better server features
- Animated emojis and personalization options
Now, Discord is extending those benefits outside the platform itself by adding game subscriptions, hardware discounts, and gaming-related perks. The company says this is only the beginning of Nitro Rewards, with more partnerships and benefits planned throughout 2026.
When are Nitro Rewards available?
Discord says Nitro Rewards are rolling out gradually over the coming weeks in eligible regions. Existing Nitro subscribers should be able to find the new perks inside the Nitro Home section on Discord once the rollout reaches their account.
