Disbelief as Home Office offers Syrian family in Scotland £3k 'to return to Albania'

A SYRIAN family in Scotland has raised concerns about Home Office decision-making after they were offered £3000 “to return to Albania” – a country none of them have ever even visited.

“This significant assistance could help you to shape your long-term future/the long-term future of your family in Albania,” the Home Office letter to Fadi Alsakka, who, with his family, is trying to claim asylum in the UK, reads.
