- A Texas girl with a disability was allegedly left home alone for two days, surviving on birthday cake, until she called police asking for food.
- Police in Fort Bend County discovered the girl, identified as HH, in November 2025, after her mother, Philippi Angela Walker, was reportedly out of the country.
- Detectives stated that HH, who has a “mental deficiency,” would not have been found for several more days if she hadn't called the sheriff's office.
- Days later, while attempting to execute an arrest warrant, police found HH had been left home alone again, this time while Walker was at work.
- Walker was subsequently charged with abandoning or endangering a child, posted a $10,000 bond, and has a court date set for June 29.
