A disabled Edinburgh man who spent months in hospital returned home to find double yellow lines painted outside his flat.
Joseph Thompson, 60, was admitted to hospital on January 10 with pneumonia and later developed sepsis and various other infections which he says nearly ended his life.
After suffering multiple injuries earlier in life, including a motorbike accident and falling on board a moving bus, Joseph has been left struggling with mobility and can't walk long distances or even write with a pen.
