Plans for future floating bus stops in London must be scrapped to avoid any future tragedies involving cyclists colliding with vulnerable people, campaigners have said.
The bus stops, first introduced in 2013, involve a cycle lane running between a bus stop and the pavement which allows cyclists to continue riding while passengers board or alight, while pedestrians have to cross the cycle path in order to catch a bus.
