Director Stephen Daldry slapped with £2,253 court bill over speeding offence near Hackney marshes

Acclaimed director Stephen Daldry has been ordered by a court to pay out more than £2,000 after he was caught speeding in a 20mph zone in London.

The 64-year-old admitted being at the wheel of a Volkswagen Golf which was captured on a speed camera in Hackney on New Year’s Day.
