Diogo Dalot has hailed the "unreal" performance of Porto goalkeeper Diogo Costa in the Champions League this season as Manchester United plot a move for the Portuguese.
The 23-year-old has been in sensational form for the Dragoes this season and continued his stunning displays on Wednesday evening as his side booked their place in the last 16 of the competition.
He was on hand to deny Noa Lang from the spot in the second half of Porto's 4-0 cruise against Belgian giants Club Brugge. The referee was not totally convinced that the save was legal because of infringement so ordered a retake - only for Costa to parry another effort away.
In all, the save was Costa's third consecutive from the penalty spot in the Champions League alone. Despite his tender years, he is now the man to have saved the most penalties in Porto history and is just the second man to represent the Portuguese club to save a spot kick in the Champions League and all of its previous iterations.
Costa's performances both in Europe and in domestic action have certainly garnered admiring glances elsewhere. Man United have already been linked with a move for his services and reportedly sent scouts to see him in action earlier this month.
In the meantime, current United defender Dalot appears to be a big fan of the young stopper having taken to Twitter to praise him for his performance in midweek.

The Portuguese wrote to his compatriot: "@DiogoMCosta99 unreal bro." His post was accompanied by a handshake, applause and a red heart emoji.
Of course, it remains to be seen whether United continue to pursue Costa but decisions certainly have to be made over their goalkeeping department sooner rather than later.
Current number one David de Gea is out of contract at the end of the season - albeit does have an option written into that deal to extend by a further year. Elsewhere, loanee Martin Dubravka is set to only be at Old Trafford until the end of the current campaign as he has not yet made an appearance for his temporary employers this term.
Reports in Portugal have claimed that Costa could potentially be available for €60million (£51m) due to a release clause written into his contract at the Estadio do Dragao. Super agent Jorge Mendes could potentially cause a little bit of trouble should the Red Devils choose to pursue the 23-year-old with it being suggested that he is already in talks with Porto to raise the release clause.
Since making his debut for the Portuguese giants, seven-time international Costa has made 83 appearances and has won two league titles, and the Taca de Portugal on a further two occasions.
