The Future List 100 by Koktail will round off its dinner talk series for the year with "The Future List Soirée With Dr Akkrawat Srinarong" on Dec 19 from 6-9pm. The venue is Social Sphere, 5th floor of Amari Watergate Bangkok on Phetchaburi Road.
Created in 2020, The Future List 100 by Koktail is an annual list of "good people doing great things". They include people from different fields with achievements that are worthy of applause and are set to go on to even greater accomplishments for the common good.
Akkrawat is a well-known music artist who is also musical director of the Thai Youth Orchestra under the Royal Patronage of HRH Princess Galyani Vadhana and, together with his sisters, a member of Vietrio.
An honoree of The Future List 100 by Koktail, he is keen on making classical music more accessible to the general public in Thailand, as well as creating opportunities for aspiring and talented Thai musicians to improve their skills and perform.
He will be giving a presentation on the topic "The Soundtrack Of Your Life: How Music Supports Our journeys", with musical accompaniment provided by members of his musical family.
This will be followed by a casual question and answer session with guests to share views and experiences. The presentation will begin at 7pm and guests will enjoy canapés and free-flow drinks.
The entry fee for the lively musical evening is 1,605 baht, with 500 baht from each cover going to the organisation of the guest speaker's choice, or in this case, the Thai Youth Orchestra, to help promote young and aspiring Thai classical musicians.
