Diksha Dagar narrowly made the cut at the KPMG Women's Irish Open following a crucial birdie on the Par-5 17th hole during her second round. The Indian golfer, who had a 1-over round on the second day, ended up even par for the tournament, allowing her to continue into the weekend in tied-55th place.
Dagar started with a 1-under 72 on the first day but encountered challenges on the second day at Carton House's O'Meara Course. She recorded two bogeys on the Par-5 fourth and eighth holes, putting her 2-over for the front nine. By then, she was 1-over for the tournament. However, a pivotal birdie on the 17th hole brought her back to even par across the two rounds, enabling her to make the cut.
