Difficult optical illusion challenges you to find a panda amongst pills in 12 seconds

Fans of a good optical illusion have been left baffled after trying to figure out how to spot a panda hidden in a "tricky" image.

At first glance, the above picture looks like it only contains a selection of pills and other medication. But there's an animal hidden in plain sight that people are being challenged to find amongst the other items, and it's a tough one to figure out.

The challenge is to try and find the panda within 12 seconds of looking at the image. The illusion was uploaded on the educational website Jagran Josh and it aims to test individuals' observational skills, Wales Online reports.

According to an article published in the Daily Star, the best way to spot the panda is to focus on the image to see if you can see anything that resembles the black and white bear.

And if you can't find it, it's suggested that you look around the left side of the image — if you still aren't having any luck, just look in the centre of the image and you will see it there as a tiny but eminently recognisable panda's face.

For those who have managed to find it, you can try your hand at the optical illusion below that was recently posted by online casino Jackpotjoy.

Which animal do you see first? (Jackpotjoy)

There are eight creatures are hiding in this image and, according to the gambling website, what you find first will tell you a lot about your personality. The graphic artists at the company created the image in the spirit of the festive season.

Finally, those of us who were around in the 1980s might recall the the stereogram — an optical illusion where if you stare at a random pattern, you'll start to see a 3D image.

It has been reported that only around 45 per cent of people can spot the image within the patterns — so take a look at this one below.

In this particular stereogram, the images you are looking for are a number and a short word of just four letters. It was tested on 80 people back in October, according to the slots site.
