David Moyes has heaped praise on Mohamed Salah, calling the Liverpool forward 'phenomenal', although he admitted that was a hard thing for him to say being a former Everton and Manchester United manager.
For the first half of last season, Salah was arguably the best player in the world as he scored a number of sensational solo goals. But his form dipped a little in the second half of the campaign after he faced heartbreak with Egypt in the final of the Africa Cup of Nations when losing on penalties to Senegal.
But Salah still went on to win the Premier League's Golden Boot and Playmaker awards before being named PFA Players' Player of the Year and the Football Writers' Association Footballer of the Year ahead of Manchester City star man Kevin De Bruyne.
