Janhvi Kapoor is slowly but steadily proving her mettle as an actress in Bollywood. The actress has often spoken about her fondness for South star Vijay Sethupathi.
In fact, did you know she called him after watching his blockbuster ‘Naanum Rowdy Dhaan’? Yes, you read that right! In an interview with a news portal, Janhvi revealed that she is a huge fan of the actor. After watching ‘Naanum Rowdy Dhaan’ for the 100th time, the actress realised that somebody had his number. She took the number and called him up. Janhvi went on to tell him on call that she is a huge fan of his and that if he ever has any role for her, she can audition for it because she would love to work with him.
Spilling some beans on his reaction to the call, Janhvi revealed that he just kept saying ‘aiyo aiyo’. The actress added that she didn’t know if he was offended or just shy. According to her, Vijay seemed surprised because she was very forward. The actor was sort of taken aback.
On the work front, Vijay will next be seen in Atlee’s ‘Jawan’ with Shah Rukh Khan and Nayanthara. Apart from this, he is also a part of Sriram Raghavan’s ‘Merry Christmas’ with Katrina Kaif.
Janhvi, on the other hand, will next be seen in Nitesh Tiwari’s ‘Bawaal’ with Varun Dhawan.
