Did the Boston Celtics use the right starting lineup against the New York Knicks?

Did the Boston Celtics use the right starting lineup against the New York Knicks in their season opener win at Madison Square Garden on Wednesday night? The starting lineup featured All-Star guard Jrue Holiday alongside Boston floor general Derrick White in the backcourt, Jaylen Brown on the wing with fellow ALl-NBA wing Jayson Tatum at the 4, and star Celtics center Kristaps Porzingis at the 5 with veteran big man Al Horford coming off the bench.

While the lineup showed promise in the first quarter, there were concerns about its effectiveness, especially in terms of rebounding and offensive flow. Could it make more sense to have Holiday move to a bench role in place of Horford?

Tune in with CLNS Media’s Bobby Manning and Josue Pavon as they share their insights and reactions to the Celtics’ thrilling 108-104 triumph over the New York Knicks on the “Garden Report” podcast clip embedded below.
