Pakistan has rejected allegations made by Brazilian journalist Pepe Escobar that Israel's intelligence agency Mossad had planned an assassination attempt against Pakistan Army chief Field Marshal Asim Munir and members of a Pakistani delegation during a recent visit to Switzerland as "complete nonsense."

The claim emerged during a podcast hosted by Lebanese-Australian political commentator Mario Nawfal, where Escobar alleged that Pakistan's military had received what he described as "ultra-credible" intelligence regarding a purported Israeli operation targeting Munir and other officials.
