Dick Van Dyke was reportedly behind the wheel of a car involved in a crash in Malibu.
Police responded to reports of a single-car accident and discovered the 97-year-old actor behind the wheel of a 2018 Lexus LS 500. The vehicle had crashed into a gate after Dick lost control on the road following heavy rainfall in Los Angeles.
The Hollywood star was understood to have been found bleeding from the nose and mouth while potentially suffering a concussion. He told police his car skidded in the rain, causing him to lose control of the vehicle, the Mirror reports.

A source told TMZ that the actor possibly suffered a concussion and that drugs and alcohol were not involved, however police have submitted paperwork to the Department of Motor Vehicles to request that Dick retake a driving test. One reason for this was concerns over his age and ability to drive.
The actor was picked up by someone after the incident, meaning he didn't have to drive home from the scene. It comes after Dick's last public appearance saw him unmasked as Gnome on The Masked Singer.
Dick performed a powerful rendition of When You're Smiling by Frank Sinatra. Afterwards, be boasted the secret to his youthful energy.
"Genes, I guess, for one thing," he said on the show, before adding: "Having a beautiful young wife half my age to take care of me - that works! My positive attitude, I get that from my wife."
Dick went on to note: "And one other thing is, I wrote a book called Keep Moving: I still go to the gym three days a week and work out.
"And I advise everybody to do that, because that's what ages people — it's just a stiffening up and not exercising their muscles and their lungs. Exercise is the answer."
