LUCKNOW: At least 50 more people have taken ill in the diarrhoea outbreak because of contaminated water supply in Fatehpur area of Aliganj sector B on Wednesday. Two more people had to be hospitalized due to nausea and loose motions, taking the number of hospitalizations to six so far.
The outbreak had already claimed life of a year old baby on Monday. Another death suspected to be due to diarrhoea was reported on Wednesday, but was denied by the office of the chief medical officer (CMO) on grounds that the probe is underway to examine exact cause.
