Diana Ross in Chester-le-Street entry and security rules as icon plays Riverside

After having the Legends slot at Glastonbury, Diana Ross will make the switch from Worthy Farm to Chester-le-Street when she takes the stage at the Riverside cricket ground.

Diana, now 78, has a career spanning close to six decades, with her initially shooting to worldwide fame as a member of The Supremes, before continuing her chart success with huge solo hits including Upside Down, Chain Reaction and Do You Know Where You're Going To.

The music legend got everyone talking at the weekend when she performed at Glastonbury, with social media very much torn with their opinions. But,. whether a fan of her Glastonbury stint or not, there is absolutely no denying that Diana, or Ms Ross to her fans, is without a doubt a total megastar, so anticipation is high for her Chester-le-Street show.

She has so far taken her Thank You to the likes of London, Manchester and Liverpool with Diana's setlist boasting loads of classics, also including Stop in the Name of Love, I'm Still Waiting and I'm Coming Out.

Fully seated concert

Diana's concert at the Seat Unique Riverside will be an all seated affair, with no standing zones at all. Tickets have been sold in two categories: Unreserved Seating and Gold Circle Unreserved Seating.

Ticket holders can't choose where to sit beforehand, with all seats allocated on a first come first served basis once you get through the gates. Gold ticket holders will get preferential seating and access to a priority ticket queue.

Gates will open at 5pm, with car park access available from 3pm and the box office at 4pm.

Which gate to go in

Gold circle ticket holders should enter from Gate 5, general admission unreserved seating via Gate 3, while Gate 2 will be for on the day ticket sales.

What things can't you take in?

There will be bag searches on arrival.. No food or drink will be allowed in the venue. There will be a number of bars and food vendors on site.

The venue will be cashless, with all; purchases to be made via card.

Alcohol and illegal substances are strictly prohibited.

Professional cameras and audio recording equipment is banned. Umbrellas can be taken in but MUST be put down once the show starts, even if it's raining, so as no to obstruct the view of others.

No dogs are allowed inside, unless guide dogs and no folding chairs, blankets, gazebos or camping equipment are allowed either.
