Vera Wang is synonymous with wedding dresses. Her creations are coveted by practically every bride-to-be and with good reason. Her pieces miraculously combine structure and movement in thoroughly intriguing ways. Now Wang is bringing that talent to jewelry with the Jared Atelier x Vera Wang collection.
Her approach was to establish three pillars featuring timeless designs with personal touches. Diamond strings are made to be layered and are inspired by Wang's friend Elsa Peretti. Next year will be the Year of the Snake so serpents had to be included. Especially since they represent a new start by the shedding of skin. Ribbons is the final category, a nod to the designer's use of bows for the last 35 years in her bridal designs.
