PATNA: Prices of several medicines, including those used for ailments like high blood pressure, high blood sugar, fever and pain would come down soon in the state in the light of a recent order issued by the National Pharmaceuticals Pricing Authority (NPPA).
The new batch of medicines is likely to be available in the market with slashed maximum retail price (MRP) soon. General secretary of Bihar Chemists and Druggists’ Association (BCDA), Pradeep Kumar Chaurasia, said the NPPA’s direction was circulated to all district-level drug associations for compliance.
