MUMBAI: The Mumbai Cricket Association on Wednesday decided to appoint former India pacer Dhawal Kulkarni, who announced his retirement from the game after Mumbai won its 42nd Ranji Trophy title in March this year beating Vidarbha in the final at the Wankhede Stadium, as it’s ‘bowling mentor’ for all age group teams for the upcoming season.
The 35-year-old Kulkarni finished an illustrious domestic career with 285 wickets in 96 First-Class matches, besides taking 223 wickets in 130 List A matches and 154 wickets in 162 T20s, besides taking 19 wickets in 12 ODIs, and three wickets in two T20Is for India.
