Dhananjay Mahadik made BJP in-charge for Kolhapur civic polls

Bharatiya Janata Party Dhananjay Mahadik Kolhapur KMC NCP Lok Sabha Satej Patil

KOLHAPUR: Former NCP MP Dhananjay Mahadik, who had joined the BJP after defeat in the 2019 Lok Sabha election, will lead the saffron party’s electoral efforts for the upcoming Kolhapur Municipal Corporation (KMC) polls.

Chandrakant Patil, the BJP state president, appointed Mahadik as the ‘prabhari’ (in-charge) of the party for the KMC election. He also appointed city president and long-time loyalist Rahul Chikode to assist Mahadik.
