DGCA records 889 serious tech defects in flights last year

DGCA Murlidhar Mohol

New Delhi: Aviation watchdog DGCA recorded 889 serious technical defects in flights compared to 692 such faults in 2024, according to official data.

The number of serious defects recorded stood at 487 and 528 in 2023 and 2022, respectively. In 2021, the count was at 514.
