A grieving 93-year-old is walking 100 laps of his estate despite a dodgy hip and knee in memory of his late wife.
Neil Norman, who is originally from Liverpool, sadly lost his lifelong partner Anne to covid in 2020. She'd also had Alzheimer's for four years, a disease Neil described as "cruel" as he watched his wife begin to lose her identity and approach dementia.
What first started as a joke on the family WhatsApp group, as Neil looked to regain his fitness, ended up becoming a significant challenge for his son Peter to raise money for research into Alzheimer's, despite Neil being in constant pain, reports Wales Online.
