The Seattle Seahawks opened the 2023 preseason with a boom, defeating the Minnesota Vikings 24-13 in the exhibition matchup. Although it is quite literally the earliest part of the NFL season, this is not stopping some from seeing lofty expectations for this team.
After the game, linebacker Devin Bush was rather bullish on what he sees as the potential for the Seahawks. Although it might be early, I love the confidence in the players.
Seahawks linebacker Devin Bush feeling pretty confident after game. Said feels that while the NFC West is "wide open'' that "I feel like we are the powerhouse in this division. I feel like it’s ours to lose.''

Although I would not necessarily agree the Seahawks are the powerhouse in the division – San Francisco is the hill to climb here – I get where Bush is coming from. The NFC West might be up for grabs, but I believe the entire conference could not be more wide open than it is right now.
Bush had a strong performance on Thursday night. He was second on the team with six total tackles, including one for a loss.
