Developers to create second business park in region following Long Eaton success

Developers will create another business park in the region following the success of Forbes Park Scheme in Long Eaton. Clowes Developments transformed a 6.5 acre site to create a development of small and large industrial and warehouse units, including trade counter facilities and roadside retail.

Many units were put under offer before and then during the construction phase, and by the end of 2022 the final unit of more than 26,000sq ft was delivered to the last local occupier to enable their relocation and expansion. The finished scheme sees more than 78,000sq ft built and developed on the park.

However, Clowes Developments along with its agency, architectural and legal team, is now looking to progress with the marketing and development of Stud Brook Business Park, which will be based at Castle Donnington.

A development of 23 units will be built across a total of 180,000sq ft, all of which are expected to be delivered before the end of 2023. The site will be located on the new Castle Donnington bypass, which will provide easy access to the A50, M1 and East Midlands Airport.

Interest is reportedly already strong in this scheme following the developer's success, and so a number of pre-lets are already in place.
