Developer forced to repay $11m 'washed' in tax fraud

A Sydney property developer who helped "wash" money for a blackmailer convicted for threatening to expose Australia's biggest tax fraud will have to cough up more than $11 million.

While he was not criminally charged over the fraud matter, the judge presiding over a civil case found Michael Teplitsky was "wilfully blind" as to the origins of the $11m he 'washed'.
