Detectives searching for a man wanted in connection with the death of a pregnant woman in Scotland have found a body.
Police said they have been investigating the death of teacher Marelle Sturrock, 35, as “suspicious”. Her body was found after police were called to a property on Jura Street in Glasgow on Tuesday morning.
A large-scale search for a missing man - believed to be fiancé David Yates - was underway today in the city’s Mugdock Country Park.

Police Scotland confirmed this evening (April 27) that the body of a man has been found at Mugdock Reservoir. Whilst he is yet to be formally identified, it is believed to be Mr Yates, 36.
He was wanted in connection with the murder of Ms Sturrock. Police Scotland said an investigation remains ongoing.
Marelle, who was a teacher at Glasgow’s Sandwood Primary School, lived with fiancé Mr Yates, with the pair getting engaged in 2015. The school sent out a letter to staff and parents of pupils of the passing of the 'beloved member of our teaching staff".
The night before her body was found Marelle shared a photo on social media where she was seen smiling with friends at a restaurant.
Speaking of the police search earlier today, a Police Scotland spokesperson said: "Officers have been carrying out extensive search activity at Mugdock Country Park in relation to a man who has been reported missing in the area. This is being treated as linked to the death of Marelle Sturrock searches remain ongoing in the area."
