Detectives investigating a sexual assault and indecent exposure offence against a woman on a DLR train have released an image of a man they want to speak to in connection with the case.

The woman was accosted by a man after he boarded at Royal Albert DLR station and then sexually assaulted her and indecently exposed himself.

She eventually manged to fend off the man who assaulted her at about 10.25pm on October 17,

A British Police statment said: “Officers believe the man in the images may have information which could help their investigation.

“If you recognise him, or have any information, please contact BTP by texting 61016 or calling 0800 40 50 40 quoting reference 691 of 17/10/22. Alternatively, you can call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.”
