Detectives investigating the murder of Constable Stephen Montgomery in Co Tyrone 33 years ago are appealing for information on the anniversary of his murder.
Constable Montgomery was killed when a drogue bomb was thrown at his patrol vehicle in Sion Mills in January 1989. A colleague was seriously injured and a third officer escaped serious injury.
In the aftermath of the attack, officers and soldiers tending to Stephen and his injured colleague were attacked by a number of people who had been in the bar.
