West Ham United are edging closer to the signing of Aston Villa striker Danny Ings in a move worth up to £15millon.
The Hammers have had a bid of £12m accepted by Villa in a deal that could rise up to £15m in potential add-ons, with Ings set to have a medical on Thursday afternoon/evening ahead of a move going through.
West Ham have been keen to add a new striker to their ranks this month, following a loan bid for Youssef En-Nesyri from Sevilla and a bid worth up to £25m including add-ons to sign Lorient striker Terem Moffi.

Ings would be the first senior signing at West Ham this month, should the move get finalised, with the 30-year-old scoring six goals in 18 Premier League appearances this term.
However, the former Liverpool striker has found minutes hard to come by this season, starting just eight league games this season and only two of the six games that new Villa boss Unai Emery has taken charge of.
Since his move to Villa in August 2021, Ings has scored 14 goals in 52 appearances in all competitions.
