Scots teen reported missing four days is traced safe and well

A missing teenager who disappeared in Fife has been traced. Emma Goddard, also known as Aster, disappeared from Glenrothes around 10pm on Saturday, July 16.

The 14-year-old was last seen leaving an address in the Waverley Drive area that night. A frantic search operation was launched to trace the teen, and it was thought she had travelled to the Blackpool area.

Officers from Police Scotland have since confirmed that Emma has been traced.

The public has been thanked for assisting cops with the appeal. A statement reads: "Emma/Aster Goddard, 14, who was reported missing from Glenrothes has been traced. Thank you to everyone who shared our appeal."
