The Atlanta Falcons are facing some adversity after losing their second straight game on Sunday to fall to 2-2 on the season.
Quarterback Desmond Ridder has been under fire after his two-interception performance in the team’s Week 4 loss to the Jaguars in London. Atlanta has managed just 13 points over the last two games combined.
When asked about the extra scrutiny from the media, Ridder said he was simply focusing on doing what he needs to do in order to get better.
“For me, I don’t let the outside noise kind of affect me,” Ridder told reporters on Wednesday. “I just know what I have to do every single day, and that’s to improve.”
The Falcons quarterback went on to say that he watched the film from Sunday’s loss to the Jaguars twice on the flight home from London.
“We talk a lot here about a growth mindset, and for myself, you know, that’s coming in and watching the film,” continued Ridder. “I had eight hours to watch it on the plane. I watched it twice over there, so it’s just about coming in here and getting better every single day.”
