Ulster champions Derry make their long-awaited Championship return to Croke Park for Saturday’s quarter-final meeting with Clare.
The Oak Leafers last featured in the last eight since in 2007 when they lost 0-18 to 0-15 to Dublin and they haven’t played a Championship game in HQ since 2011’s round four Qualifier loss to Kildare (0-19 to 0-13).
This weekend, a large number of Derry fans will travel to Dublin in expectation, not hope as they bid to continue their fine 2022 form.
