A Derry restaurant has been named one of the best burger joints in Ireland.
3Frenchies burger bar, based on the Strand Road, won two awards at the YesChef 2022 Awards - despite only being open for less than a year.
The Derry takeaway won 'Burger Of The Year' for Ulster and the overall 'Burger Of The Year' award for Ireland.

Speaking to MyDerry following their success, owner Liam Kelly said: "We have only been opened since September so just to be nominated was great.
"When they called my name for best in Ulster, I couldn’t believe it. I didn’t even get on my seat and had to be told by the people at the table to go back as I won the best burger overall."
"Obviously I couldn’t have done this without our amazing staff," Liam added. "I can’t thank them enough.
"All our burgers are fresh and we only use locally sourced ingredients.
"The idea came for this during lockdown when I was getting food from other takeaways almost every day but everything was more or less the same.
"I wanted something better for myself and the people of the city."
