Derry Girls star dating Glasgow DJ in surprise famous relationship

A popular Irish actress, famous for her role in Channel 4 sitcom Derry Girls, is in a committed relationship with another famous face, this time a Scottish DJ on the rise.

Saoirse-Monica Jackson, who plays Erin in the internationally-renowned TV show Derry Girls, is all loved up with Scottish DJ Denis Sulta.

The couple went public with their relationship back in September 2021 as they posed together for an online picture for the first time on Instagram.

Saoirse and Denis then jetted off the the exclusive Tulum México Ruinas Mayas in the New Year.

One tweet about the relationship has went viral, which has fans of both stars wondering, "How did I miss that one?"

The well-known pair take in the sun in Mexico during a romantic holiday. (Instagram)

The tweet reads: "There are some random celebrity couples out there but Denis Sulta and Erin from Derry Girls takes the cake."

Fans have sent back their messages of confusion when realising the connection between the two, with one Twitter user writing: "My head is gone. Why did I not know this."

Another said: "Wait what??"

And a third wrote: "How did I not know this?? Wtf."

Other comments read: "Hahahahahah why did I never know this", and "Hahahah what in the world."

The second to last episode of Derry Girls will air on Tuesday, May 10 at 9pm on Channel 4, so tune in alongside Denis to watch Erin and the rest of the gang in the penultimate instalment!
