The Baltimore Ravens scored the first touchdown of the 2024 NFL season, as new running back Derrick Henry bullied his way into the end zone for six against the hosting Kansas City Chiefs on Thursday night.
Henry’s first drive with the Ravens showed off why it’s such a problem for NFL defenses that Baltimore had both Henry and quarterback Lamar Jackson at its disposal on the ground this season.
In fact, you might have just found out Henry was with the Ravens during this game if you missed out when he signed with the franchise in free agency this past March.
If so, we’re so sorry. Yes, Henry is with Baltimore. It’s not great for the rest of us.

NFL fans really, really weren’t happy with realizing how this is going to go for opposing defenses this season with Henry in a Ravens jersey.

Whoever let the Ravens get Derrick Henry needs to be investigated

Derrick Henry and Lamar Jackson in the same backfield is just flat out unfair 😱
