A derelict morgue is up on the market for an estimated price of £55,000, and it's thought you could well one day spend the night there - if you dare.
The former mortuary has been left to decay for some 20 years, but it might have a second lease of life as a "spooky-themed" Airbnb.
The unique and rather creepy property - complete with an original embalming room - is up for sale by auction, and is set to go under the hammer on April 26 and 27.
According to a description given on the John Pye Auctions website, the old morgue, which is located in Leek, Staffordshire, is understood to be "in a poor condition, and not currently suitable for occupation".
The listing continues: "A full programme of refurbishment or demolition is required before it can be considered for any future use. The site is overgrown having been left unattended to for many years."
The sale also includes a half-an-acre plot, said to be located next to a chapel.
Photographs show a brick building with a large wooden door, surrounded by overgrown shrubbery. Meanwhile, interior pictures reveal a high-ceilinged yet gloomy space, filled with all sorts of accumulated clutter.
It's clear to see that prospective buyers will need to put in a fair bit of work, however, it's believed it holds "huge potential" for those brave enough to take it on.
Auctioneer Helen Bingley said: "It's going to make an amazing project for someone and has huge potential. There is quite a market for historical buildings of this nature that people are interested in staying in overnight.
"Other unusual buildings we have had for sale in the past include an observatory, water tower, a former army barracks, and windmill, all have proved to be attention grabbers at auction."
