A memorial football match is to take place between Edinburgh schools in memory of a teen who tragically lost his life following a cardiac arrest.
Christophe Cowe, who was 15 when he passed away without warning in January 2021 of undiagnosed myocarditis, was a keen footballer and an avid fan of the Jambo’s.
Players from both Balerno and Currie High School will take part in the match that is hoped will raise funds to go towards providing heart screenings for young people. with the two charities Cardiac Risk in the Young and the Big Hearts Foundation.
