Arctic Monkeys will now also play the venue in June 2023 after a venue change, before which they were supposed to play at Marlay Park. Depeche Mode are currently made up of Martin L Gore and Dave Gahan.
The band's keyboard player Andy Fletcher died in May of this year with his cause of death being revealed as an aortic dissection (a tear in a main artery from his heart) at his home. Paying tribute to Fletcher, the band said: “A couple weeks ago we received the result from the medical examiners, which Andy’s family asked us to share with you now.
"Andy suffered an aortic dissection while at home on 26 May. So, even though it was far, far too soon, he passed naturally and without prolonged suffering.”
