Department of Health launches online tracker for specialist hospital appointment waiting times

The Department of Health has launched a new online tracking system to see how long waits are for specialist hospital appointments.

Patients in Northern Ireland can now use the new online system that will allow them to check the average waiting times for a first outpatients hospital appointment across the different clinical specialties in each Health and Social Care Trust area.

The page, known as My Waiting Times NI, has been developed in order to improve and centralise information that is already publicly available to patients.
