Department called into question over a number of "key planning decisions" in Derry

The Department for Infrastructure has been called into question for the timekeeping of a number of major developments in Derry.

SDLP councillor Brian Tierney said has written to the DfI about several projects including the Buncrana Road Greenway and 258 social housing units on the Springtown Road in Derry.

All of the projects have been backed by the council and Councillor Tierney asked the department to detail their reasons for the current delays.
